These photographs were taken in April, September and December 2006.


These geese food bins welcomed visitors at the parking lot of Silver Lake. For 75 cents, visitors could purchase a large cup of whole corn to feed the geese, ducks and coots. Most visitors brought their own feed but lots of Mayo Clinic patients purchased corn from these bins. For many Mayo Clinic patients, feeding the geese was stress relieving and therapeutic.
